Reckov is a very valuable locality because of its fauna. There are many precious and rare plants there. The subsoil is consisted from calcic limestone covered by sediments with majority of sandy components. This locality is set on the Rokytka stream. The stream has not been regulated, that is why it makes many meanders there.
